KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers, furnace oil and edible oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively on Monday.
Meanwhile four more ships carrying chemicals and containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 20% at the port on Tuesday where a total three ships namely Nysted Maersk, Gulf Oasis and MT. Fuji Galaxy are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 26939 tonnes comprising 21,521 tonnes imports and 5418 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized in 940 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
