MIRPUR: The water level in Mangla dam on Tuesday raised up to 1170.40 Feet against the dead level of 1040.00 feet.
The water increased in dam due to swift melting of glaciers, the sources told APP here.
The reservoir is being filled with the water for future usage for irrigation besides to boost power generation in the coming days to overcome the load-shedding shortage.
The Inflow of water in dam was recorded as 54100 cusecs against the simultaneous discharge of 15000 cusecs.
