KARACHI: Grammy award-winning songstress Rihanna procured a restraining order for alleged stalker Steveland Barrow after he tried to break into her house in Los Angeles a month ago.
After the police caught him, the delusional stalker claimed he had been invited and was there only to give Rihanna some poetry. But police reported that he stole some items from the house and even slept in a bed he mistook for hers.
As pronounced in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the 31-year-old stalker is now ordered to stay 100 yards away from the “Umbrella” star, her home and her RocNation management offices for three years.
Back in 2009, her boyfriend Chris Brown (“Step Up”) was issued a restraining order too when he made her a victim of domestic abuse. The two got back together last year. Allegedly, Rihanna has forgiven him and decided to give him another chance because she believes everyone makes mistakes, he’s had his fair share of criticism for it and he needs support now.
The diva is currently on her “Diamonds” world tour for her album “Unapologetic.”
