LONDON: Italian and Spanish government bond yields jumped on Monday after the euro zone asked Cyprus to enforce a levy on bank savings in exchange for a bailout.
Italian 10-year yields were last 13 basis points higher at 4.73 percent, while Spanish 10-year yields rose 15 basis points to 5.08 percent. Equivalent Portuguese yields were 16 bps up at 6.16 percent.
