After three weeks since the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi, the body parts of the journalist were found from the garden of the Saudi Consul General in Istanbul.

According to international media reports, the US resident’s body was ‘cut’ and his face has been ‘disfigured’. This breakthrough comes after Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an's detailed address about the murder of Khashoggi.

US President Donald Trump said that the killing of Khashoggi was the worst cover-up ever by the kingdom. Trump said, “They had a very bad original concept. It was carried out poorly, and the cover-up was one of the worst in the history of cover-ups.”

On Tuesday, Kashoggi's son Salah met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Yamama Palace in Riyadh. The royals had invited Salah and Khashoggi’s brother Sahelto to offer their condolences.

The same day, Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an said that the Saudi team 'that planned and executed the murder' were informed about the journalist's visit to Istanbul the day before. The president giving details of Khashoggi’s death said that two Saudi teams, including generals, were involved in the murder of Khashoggi.

Erdogan added that the hard drives from the Saudi consulate cameras were also removed. During his address to his Justice and Development Party (AK Party), Erdogan had raised several questions one of them being regarding the body of Khashoggi. He asked,"Why has the body of someone who was officially said to be killed not been found yet?"
