SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power and Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday said that the visible and record decrease in POL prices twice in a month was a historical step of the government.
He said government had also proved its sincerity and commitmnet with the public. He said government had given a grand and direly needed financial relief to the nation by reducing POL prices to a great extent twice in a month.
He stated this while talking to the party workers at PML-N House Sialkot. Local MPAs Mansha Ullah Butt, Ch. Muhammad Ikram, Mrs. Gulnaz Shujaat Pasha and local PML-N leaders Idrees Ahmed Bajwa, Mehmoodul Hassan Babar Khan and Shujaat Ali Pasha were also present on the occasion.
The minister added that the masses will soon bear the fruits of this larger scale reduction in POL prices, adding that the government’s effective and positive economic policies were meeting with great success and the fruits of these policies were now reaching to the people at the gross-root level in the country.
He said continuity of government’s policies was vital for national political and economic stability in the county. Earlier, Khawaja Asif held an Open Kutchery . He listened public problems and issued on the spot orders on various applications for their solution.
