OGRA slashes petroleum prices

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on the directives of the Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday announced reduction in the prices of petroleum products.

According to an OGRA notification, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs3 per litre, diesel by Rs2.01 and light speed diesel by Rs1.13.

However, no change has been made in the price of Kerosene oil.

The new price of petrol after reduction by Rs3 has come to Rs83.71 per litre.

High speed diesel will now sell at Rs92.10 per litre. Similarly, light diesel will be available in the open market at Rs81.39 per litre.

There is no change in the price of kerosene oil and it will be available at Rs84.65 per litre. The new prices will be applicable from July 1.
