Front-month gas futures rose 2.8 cents, or 0.9%, to $2.994 per million British thermal units.
That kept the front-month in overbought territory with a Relative Strength Index (RSI) over 70 for a seventh straight day for the first time since November 2019.

Front-month gas futures rose 3.9 cents, or 1.3%, to $2.950 per million British thermal units.
For the week, the contract was about 8% higher, putting it up for a third week in a row for the first time since February.

US natgas futures flat as mild weather offsets record LNG exports

On its second to last day as the front-month, gas futures for April delivery remained unchanged at $2.568 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) .
Traders noted the 200-day moving average has become a strong price floor or technical level of support. The front-month has not settled below the 200-day since September 2020.

US natgas futures at 7-week low on milder weather forecasts

Front-month gas futures fell 6.5 cents, or 2.5%, to $2.535 per million British thermal units.
That puts the front-month down about 24% since mid February when it hit a three-month high of $3.316 per mmBtu during the Texas freeze.
