ISLAMABAD: Director General China Radio International (CRI), Wang Gengnian said that CRI FM 98 Dosti channel's inauguration is another evidence of strong bonding between the peoples of Pakistan and China.
Talking to Radio Pakistan in an exclusive interview, Wang said that Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) and CRI cooperation has strong foundation as Pak-China friendship history is very old.
He said that they are encouraged by huge feedback from CRI Urdu listeners in Pakistan which proved that their efforts to enhance Pak-China friendship are very fruitful.
He said that Dosti channel will further enhance Pak-China cooperation in all sectors and will play vital role in this regard.
Wang said that they consider Pakistan as friend of their four generations and would provide impartial and comprehensive information to Pakistanis through Dosti channel.
DG CRI that Chinese people also wants to know about Pakistani religion, culture and nationality and is great admirers of its music.
He said that DG PBC had briefed him about Radio Pakistan and added that they can learn many things from Radio Pakistan. Dosti channel will promote their cooperation in the exchange of technology and manpower.
