LAHORE: Pakistan Railways (PR) has received 3million litre diesel from PSO and all passenger trains will be restored from today (Sunday).

According to railways spokesman the organization received 3 million litre diesel during last three days. On March 16 PSO loaded 1 million litre and on March 18 another 1 million litre diesel loaded, while 1 million loaded on Saturday.

The railways has gradually received the oil and out of 42 passenger trains which closed due to oil shortage, 27 have been restored and only 15 were stopped till date due to oil problem. The spokesman said that ten trains in Peshawar and five in Multan section are still not running, while trains in other sections including Lahore, Quetta, Karachi and Sukhar were running according to schedule.
