LIMA: Peru's central bank raised its growth forecast for 2011 to 7 percent from 6.5 percent on Friday, despite heightened global risks including turmoil in Libya and the crisis in Japan following a powerful quake.
The central bank, which has been tightening monetary policy, has said it expects inflation this year of about 3 percent, the upper end of its annual target.
