OSLO: Norway will take part in military action against Libya following the adoption of a UN resolution establishing a no fly zone, Defence Minister Grete Faremo told the Verdens Gang newspaper Friday.
"We have decided to take part in the operation. But it is too early to say in what way," the minister said. "It would be reasonable to do so by means of air (power)."
Denmark, meanwhile, is awaiting the green light from parliament before joining the action by contributing F-16 warplanes, foreign minister Lene Espersen said.
