Karzai invites Gilani to visit Kabul

ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Thursday telephoned Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and invited him to visit Kabul at his earliest convenience.

The Prime Minister while accepting, the invitation stated that mutually convenient dates of the visit in the near future would be worked out in coordination of the Foreign Offices of the two countries.

The Prime Minister said that he would look forward to the visit and was certain that it would provide another useful opportunity for consultations on the whole gamut of bilateral relations for further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.
