 ISLAMABAD: Former religious affairs minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi has been handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on a five-day physical remand in the Hajj scam Aaj TV reported on Wednesday.

Special Judge Central Sohail Nasir rejected the bail of the former minister in the Hajj corruption scandal.

Upon rejection of his bail, Kazmi was arrested by the FIA officers from the courtroom.
he was produced before the court of Senior Civil Judge Mohammad Aslam. The FIA requested a 14-day remand but the court granted five-day remand.

During the Hajj season in 2010, a case was registered by the FIA against the minister for corruption.
