1,272 lecturers to be recruited

KARACHI: The Sindh education Department has sent requisition of 1,272 lecturers of various subjects to the Sindh Public Service Commission to meet the shortage of teaching staff in the colleges.

This was stated by the Secretary Education Sindh, Ms. Naheed Shah, at a meeting in her office on Wednesday.

She said that this would help in addressing the problems pertaining to the shortage of teachers in the colleges and also to enhance the academic standards.

Ms. Shah asked the principals of the colleges to ensure attendance of students.

She pointed out that the government has taken steps for the improvement of education standard.

Ms. Shah further stated that measures have also been taken to resolve the outstanding problems of the teachers.
