Tax payment deadline extended

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has extended the date of payment of taxes/duty and filing of sales tax/federal excise returns up to 25th July, 2012 for the tax period of June, 2012 for all registered persons.

In this connection, the FBR has referred to C.NO.3(9)ST-L&P/2010 and directed all Chief Commissioners of LTUs/RTOs to comply with the FBR direction.  The board has also sent the copy of this letter to Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, all other Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the CEO PRAL, Islamabad, Chief Commissioner (FATE) FBR, Islamabad and Secretary (PR), FBR, Islamabad.
