ISLAMABAD: A one-day Pak-China conference on Internet Security, Nanotechnology and Environmental Sciences will be held on Monday at the Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS) here.
A delegation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, led by its President Prof Chunli Bai, is on visit to Pakistan for participating in the bi-national conference on the invitation of Dr Atta-ur-Rahman, PAS President, said a news release issued here on Sunday.
The purpose of Chinese delegation visit to Pakistan is to explore possibilities of cooperation in science and technology between the two countries.
It may be mentioned here that the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the most powerful scientific institution in China with over 100 world-class research institutes and science and technology universities under its umbrella.
