Sylvester still enjoys thrills of performing stunts

KARACHI: Sylvester Stallone still enjoys the thrills and dangers of playing action hero, but the hyper-star admits that years of action films have taken their toll on his body.

Stallone revealed that the physical nature of his work caused him several injuries as such kind of works come with a price. But, despite his injuries he is confident he won’t slow down.

“I still love the challenge. I get there and I go, Let me jump off, let me go into the water. I don’t get how people do green-screen work,” he said.

“I don't know how people do that green-screen work. I've done a bit and it drives me crazy. I like the heat of an explosion in my face, a hunk of tin flying past my head 30ft from where it should have gone. It's hard to get the emotion without it,” said the veteran actor.

Stallone described his new project Expendables 2, due for release in August, as “the biggest film I've been involved in for 20 years. We should have done it years ago!”
