Meat prices hiked by Rs20 per kg in RYK

RAHIM YAR KHAN: The district administration has increased mutton and beef prices by Rs 20 per kg in R Y Khan.

The new official price fixed for mutton is Rs280 per kg and beef Rs180 per kg.

Meanwhile,the administration has strictly banned serving meat dishes in hotels on every Tuesday and Wednesday. This was stated by DCO Dr Javed Ahmed Qazi in a meeting of district price control committee on Wednesday.

The DCO directed the officers concerned to take strict action against the milkmen for selling adulterated milk.
