ISLAMABAD: Tajik President Emomali Rehman was given a warm welcome at the Presidency after he arrived here Monday on a three-day official visit.
At the formal welcome ceremony, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani received the Tajik President on his arrival.
A red carpet was rolled out for Tajik President Emomali Rehman who also later reviewed the guard of honour.
The Tajik President introduced the members of his delegation to President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani.
Both the Presidents will soon hold talks and discuss issues of mutual interest.
President Zardari will later host a banquet in honour of the visiting dignitary.
