The United Kingdom (UK) has announced to provide 4.39 million pounds in aid to Pakistan in its efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic and help the vulnerable.
The British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Dr. Christopher Turner in a video message stated that the additional aid of 4.39 million pounds is a sign of strong British-Pakistani friendship, which will be used to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said that Pakistan has shown international leadership in its response to combating the coronavirus, adding that Pakistan has taken care of the health and safety of the needy along with reviving the economy.
