KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 16,293.62 points with a positive change of 597.15 and volume of 123,367,346 shares. High and Low were 16,372.13 and 15,696.47 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 28 were up, 2 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 172,769,586 shares. Total companies traded were 335 of which 215 were positive, 100 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 54,497,700 shares. It was followed by Oil and Gas Marketing Companies with a total traded volume of 23,102,847 shares.
