How unfortunate it is that Afghanistan is once again in the throes of massive violence. How ironic it is that ink was barely dry on the US-Taliban peace agreement when fighting broke out again. However, I'm still optimistic about peace prospects in this war-torn country. Although the situation is bleak, we must not let our hopes fade away. Edmond Mbiaka has famously said: "Hold strong to your faith and never let that hope fade away. You can still turn your situations around for better time and solutions will surely eliminate your problems."
