Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ship arrived at Port on Saturday, carrying palm oil at LCT and wheat loader at FAP.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 35% at the Port on Saturday Where a total of five ships namely M.V Catamaraca, M.T STX Eastern, M.V END Less, M.T Argent Hihiscusi, M.V Indian Fotrune are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, palm oil, coal, chemical was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 36826 tonnes comprising 33611 tonnes Import, 3215 tonnes Export was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T STX Eastern sailed on Sunday morning. M.V Acacia at FAP, M.V Maersk Kentucky at QICT and M.T Al-Soor-II at FOTCO arrive on 6, May.
