On Wednesday t Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,277.
The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.020 billion and the numbers of lots traded was 11,510.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.229 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS PKR1.148 billion, Crude Oil PKR 1.136 billion, Silver PKR 415.466 million, NSDQ100 PKR 312.429 million, DJ PKR 303.731 million, Platinum PKR 266.124 million, Natural Gas PKR 84.362 million, Brent Crude Oil PKR 43.025 million, SP500 PKR 41.847 million and Copper PKR 38.997 million.
In agriculture commodities four lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.998 million were traded.
