PM Gilani focused to improve infrastructure in Southern Punjab

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Textile Industry, Makhdoom Shahab Ud Din on Thursday said Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has made special efforts for progress in Southern Punjab, especially improvement of infrastructure there.

Talking to mediamen outside Supreme Court premises before appearance of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in apex court, Makhdoom Shahab Ud Din said that Southern Punjab was neglected by previous governments but Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani focused to improve infrastructure there.

To a question about next general election, the Minister said that it should be held after completion of five-year tenure of the elected government.
