  • The two Indian nationals have been identified as Prashant and Darilal.
  • Authorities suspect that Prashant, a software engineer, could have been sent to Pakistan to carry out some sophisticated terror attack.

Two Indian nationals, one suspected to be a spy, were arrested on Monday by police in Cholistan for illegally entering the country without travel documents.

The two Indian nationals have been identified as Prashant and Darilal from the Indian states Madhya Pradesh and Hyderabad, local media reported. A case has been registered by the law enforcement agencies against the two, who entered Pakistan without proper documentation.

The authorities are suspicious that Prashant who is a software engineer, could have been sent to Pakistan to carry out some sophisticated terror attack.

In a one-minute video message, Prashant assures his parents that he is fine and that the police have brought him to the court. He further said that the police will coordinate with Indian embassy. "I might be released in a month," Prashant adds in the video.
