The futures spread increased by 269bps to negative 8.69 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter remained thin as average daily volumes decreased by 50.5 percent to 67.81 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 136.86 million shares.
Average daily trading value on the futures counter declined by 38.6 percent and stood at Rs 2.93 billion during this week.
