Many media sources have earlier revealed that actress Veena Malik is undergoing breast surgery but no one was sure about its nature. However, after successful treatment, Veena took to Twitter to reveal details about her breast surgery.

“I had a successful fibroadenoma removal surgery at the South City Hospital, Karachi. I am indebted to all the love and prayers said and expressed by my people,” she wrote on Twitter.

She also gave a powerful message to all the women that breast care is ‘real’ and important. She asserted that be it breast cancer or any other breast disease, women must take care of themselves. And it shouldn't be considered a taboo.
