ATHENS: Greece is seven billion euros short of a targeted debt cut of 107 billion euros ($142 billion) after a successful bond swap with private investors on Friday, Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos said.
"Seven billion euros remain," Venizelos told a news conference, a few hours after Greece said it had clinched a landmark debt swap to unlock a second eurozone bailout to save the country from bankruptcy.
