ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday forecast mainly dry weather for most parts of the country with chances of rain at few places during next 24 hours.
However, light rain/thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is likely at isolated places of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions during the next 24 hours.
A shallow westerly wave is still affecting Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas and likely to persist for next 24 hours.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly dry weather will prevail and light rain/thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is likely at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara divisions.
In Sindh and Balochistan, mainly dry weather is expected during next 24 hours.
Light rain/thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills likely at isolated places of Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during next 24 hours.
The lowest minimum temperature recorded at Kallat minus 5C and today's minimum temperatures were: Islamabad 8 C, Lahore 13 C, Quetta minus 3 C, Karachi 20 C, Peshawar 8 C, Muzaffarabad 7 C, Gilgit 2 C, Murree 3 C, Multan 11 C and Faisalabad 19C.
The chief amount of rainfall recorded during last 24 hours was Kakul 7 mm, Muzaffarabad, Balakot and Garidupatta 3 mm (each), Malamjabba, Pattan and Mirkhani 2 mm (each).
