LARKANA: Sindh Minister for Law & Prisons Muhammad Ayaz Soomro and newly elected Senators Hari Ram Kishori Lal, Mrs Mudassir Saher Kamran, Saeed Ghani and Ajiz Dhamrah have said that the historic success was achieved by the PPP due to the efforts of President Asif Ali Zardari, Madam Faryal Talpur MNA and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah by adopting political reconciliation policy under the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Talking to media-men after paying visit of graves of martyrs of Bhutto's family in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, here on Sunday they also said that the democratic system in the country was strengthened by the present government.
They congratulated the leadership of the party. Replying to a question they said that in the senate election no horse trading was seen due to reconciliation policy. They also thanked the Chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and reiterated their commitment to serve according the manifesto of the party which was given by martyred leaders.
They expressed their full confidence on the party leadership and said that the leadership gave priority to the workers in senate elections which was an example in the political history of the country.
They added that the roots of the party are in the people with the result the party was succeeded to become a single larger party in the Senate.
They also reiterated to serve the people and the country without any discrimination. They also committed to struggle for the implementation of the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, so that the democratic system may be strengthened and the country becomes prosperous.
On the occasion the Media coordinator of MNA Madam Faryal Talpur Ghulam Mustafa Laghari presented the traditional Sindhi Ajraks and caps to the newly elected senators at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
On the occasion PPP leaders Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Abdul Fattah Bhutto, Aijaz Laghari, Nisar Murad Bhutto, Apa Naseeba Channa, a large number of PPP Leaders and Workers were present.
