India must reciprocate PM's offer before it is too late, urges Bilawal

After Prime Minister Imran Khan's call for peace talks with India, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has urged the neighboring country to reciprocate the offer before it is too late.

The PPP chairman wrote on his Twitter handle on Thursday and said, "It is the youth of the subcontinent who will pay in blood and coin for generations to come for the shortsighted decisions of a few today." Bilawal urged India that it was time to deescalate and that it must reciprocate the PM's call for dialogue before it is too late.

In his address to the nation, the premier had again called India for peace dialogues and had offered India to investigate into the Pulwama attacks. The PM said,"I invite India again – we are ready to come on the table and talk about terrorism that affects both the countries. We are ready.”

On Wednesday, the government and the Parliament had held an in-camera meeting. The Parliament leaders were briefed about the current situation after Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two of Indian Air Force's jets and arrested one of the pilots.

Following the in-camera briefing, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in a video said that the whole House had reiterated their support to the Pakistan armed forces, the PM and the whole nation.
