MULTAN: A special technical team of Pakistan Railways Multan division has left for Kundian for inspection of track to restore Thal Express from Multan to Rawalpindi here on Thursday.

According to official sources, Thal Express would be inaugurated on February 12.

A three member technical team including Divisional Engineer Railway (DEN) Abid Razzaq, Divisional Transport Officer (DTO) Tahir Masood Marwat and Divisional Signalling Engineer (DSE) Nadeem Taj has left through a special inspection car.

The team would inspect track, signal and other technical matters. The team has been directed to submit its report to Divisional Suprintendent office.

It is pertinent to mention that Thal Express would be run between Multan and Rawalpindi via Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu and Kundian.
