The incidents of various kinds of theft, kidnapping, carjacking and murder increased during the last week in the heavily guarded federal capital. According to data gathered by Business Recorder, over eight cases of theft including house robbery and snatching at gunpoint, seven kidnapping cases, four cases of motor vehicle theft and three cases of murder were reported to various police stations of the city.
During the last week, most 'favourite' areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Golra, Khanna, Bhara Khau, Tarnol, Sihala and Koral police stations. In the same period, Golra police station registered two cases of kidnapping and one case each of robbery and auto theft. Rizwan Ali lodged a complaint with Golra police station that the unknown persons have kidnapped his wife. Another Zeeshan Ali lodged a complaint with Golra police station that unidentified persons kidnapped his wife.
Auto thieves stole a bike bearing registration number LEV-6870 of Muhammad Sheraz. Muhammad Ramzan informed Golra police station that unidentified persons snatched mobile phone and cash from him. In the same period, Khanna police station registered one case each of kidnapping and robbery. Rustam informed Khanna police station that unknown persons have kidnapped his daughter. Abdul Sami registered a complaint with Khanna police station that unidentified thieves stole cash, a mobile phone and other valuables from his house.
Two cases of kidnapping were reported to Bhara Kahu police station during the last week. Muhammad Muneer registered a complaint with Bhara Kahu police station that unknown persons have kidnapped his two daughters. Another Muhammad Azeem informed Bhara Kahu police station that unidentified people have kidnapped his daughter.
In the same period, Tarnol police station registered one case each of murder and auto theft. Muhammad Zada informed Tarnol police station that his son-in-law Subhan along with his brother killed his daughter. Auto thieves stole a Suzuki van bearing registration number RW-925. During the last week Koral police registered two case of robbery. Jameel Ahmed lodged a complaint with Koral police station that two unknown persons while working in his house stole jewellery.
One Imtiaz Yaqoob informed Koral police station that unidentified robbers stole gold ornaments and cash from his house.
Similarly, one case each of auto theft and murder was reported to Sihala police station. Auto thieves stole a bike bearing registration number VRN-1022 of Sughra Bibi. Another Ghazanfer Ali lodged a complaint with Sihala police station that accused Shamsheer has killed his son Usman Ghazanfer. During the last week, Aabpra and Nilor police stations registered one case each of robbery while Margalla police station registered one murder case.
