Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar has said that swimming pool facility at KMC Sports Complex at Kashmir Road has now been made available to public for current season. "Citizens can avail this old facility now being restored by KMC for all of them," he said, after opening the swimming pool for general public. Metropolitan Commissioner Dr Syed Saif-ur-Rehman was also present on this occasion.
Waseem Akhtar also inspected the facilities provided at the pool. "We want to provide such facilities in all districts of Karachi but at present it was not possible due to shortage of resources," he said, adding that Landhi Korangi Sports Complex would also be made available for public soon.
