Commissioner Hyderabad Division Abbas Baloch has directed to all concerned departments to jointly work for controlling typhoid and set up medical camps for vaccination against typhoid in Hyd district.
Presiding over a meeting at Shahbaz Hall on Tuesday, the Commissioner directed the health department to provide clinical tests and medicines of typhoid in all govt hospitals of Hyderabad. No negligence in this regard will be tolerated, he maintained. He constituted a committee having representation of nominees from Liaqat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology and WHO and assigned the task to work in direction of typhoid control and preventive measures against the disease. He asked to all government departments to arrange awareness walk against typhoid so that the citizens could adopt precautionary measures against the disease.
