The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will announce monetary policy for next two months on Thursday. The meeting of the monetary policy committee will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Islamabad for deliberations on the economic indicators to take a decision on key policy rate. In the previous meeting the committee increased the policy rate by 150 basis points to 10 percent due to multiple challenges.
