Former federal minister Nawabzada Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti has warned that they will protest against sacking of more than 271 employees by administration of Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKU) Mardan. Speaking at a news conference at Mardan Press Club on Saturday, Khawaja Hoti said that the university administration decision was affected more than 4,000 females of the district.
Hoti threatened that if the university administration did not withdraw its decision forthwith, they will compel to start agitation campaign against the illegal decision of university administration.
It may be noted that the university administration on Friday sacked 271 regular employees appointed on Demonstrators (BPS-16), Office Assistants (BPS-16), Upper Division Clerks (PBS-14), KPOs (BPS-11) and Lab Assistants (BPS-7) through advertisement No-48 published in different newspaper in September 2015 and also issued showcase notices to the officials involved the process of these appointments.
