Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb Wednesday felicitated the nation on the start of holy month of Ramazan filled with bounty of blessings, benevolence and prayers.
Marriyum, in her message, said, "Ramazan-ul-Mubarak is a month of individual and collective training and it teaches mutual love and brotherhood, and makes us realize that we should feel for the grief-stricken humanity and extend help to our fellow beings."
The minister said the holy month stressed on offering of prayers, self-purification and spirit of sacrifice.
"For seeking blessings of Allah Almighty, we have to make a special effort and vividly convey our sentiments of sacrifice for the needy and downtrodden sections of society."
"Fasting rejuvenates the soul and is the best way to seek countless blessings and to submit to the will of Allah," she added.
