Seminar on 'Promoting Quality Culture in HEIs' held at Wah university
University of Wah organized its 2nd National Seminar on "Promoting Quality Culture in Higher Educational Institutions. Quality Assurance representatives from over 40 Universities across Pakistan including GIKI, Lahore College for Women University, Khyber Medical University, IIUI, Riphah University, FAST,CUST, COMSATS,PIDE, Bahria University, Air University, KUST, Hazara University participated in the event. The purpose of the event was to identify trends and best practices on promoting Quality Culture in Higher Education Institutions and to strengthen collaboration, networking and capacity building amongst members of the quality family.
Professor Khaliq ur Rehman Shad SI(M), Vice Chancellor University of Wah was the Chief Guest.
Dr Kamran Moosa, CEO, Pakistan Institute of Quality Control (PIQC) and Professor Dr Muhammad Irfan Khan, Advisor, Institute of Occupational Safety, Health & Environment (IOSHE) were the guest speakers.
The speakers talked about "Metacognition - Learning to Learn" and "Issues and Challenges of Quality in HEIs of Pakistan." Professor Khaliq Ur Rehman Shad, SI (M) thanked the guest speakers for a professionally re-invigorating session. He appreciated the organizers for providing a national platform to explore and exchange views on promoting quality culture in Higher Educational Institutions in the country.-PR
