The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Wednesday handed over ten quingqui rickshaws under its Rozgar scheme to the employed youth of Mohmand Agency. The Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra was the chief guest who handed over the keys of the quingqui rickshaws to the youth.
Beside others, President NBP Saeed Ahmed, Regional Head NBP Saima Raheem, tribal elders, youngsters from FATA, concerned officials from FATA and NBP were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said that Government is taking concrete steps for creating employment opportunities for people of FATA.
He said that handling of Quingqui rickshaws to ten unemployed people from Mohmand Agency by National Bank of Pakistan is commendable.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor expressed gratitude to President NBP on opening its branch in Mohmand Agency and said that steps taken by NBP in flourishing Islamic Banking and creating employment opportunities is very encouraging.
