The Ambassador of Vietnam to Pakistan Pham Hoang Kim on Monday visited Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry(SCCI) to meet with the members for discussing issues pertaining to mutual interests and enhancing bilateral trade between Vietnam and Pakistan.
The Ambassador underscored the need of enhance interaction between the business communities on both sides by providing useful platforms. He also assured his support for linking Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry with prominent Chambers in Vietnam adding that Vietnam is keen to boost trade ties with Pakistan by identifying potential areas of collaboration.
On this occasion, Pham Hoang Kim lauded the role of business Community for undertaking their exceptional projects including Sialkot International Airport and AIRSIAL.
President SCCI Zahid Latif Malik said that the visit of Pham Hoang Kimon to Sialkot chamber will open new vista of more business activities between the two countries.
He praised the improvement witnessed in bilateral trade between the two countries in recent years and said that the same could be further enhanced through frequent interactions of private sectors, exchange of trade delegations, enhanced B2B Linkages.
He also stressed upon the need of signing an Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries and relaxation on tariff/duties especially on made in Sialkot products. Zahid Latif Malik also requested the Ambassador to link SCCI with Chambers in Vietnam for promotion of B2B linkages.
