The police have claimed that they have arrested four members inter-provincial gang of thieves in jurisdiction of Nasirbagh police station and recovered the stolen amount and 25 tolas of gold on Sunday. Addressing a press conference here, SSP operation Javed Iqbal said that the police received first information report via Colonel Zahid Ahmad (retd) and Ali Ahmad that some thieves had entered their house in their absence and looted 25 tola gold, cash and some licensed weapons.
The police after receiving the report, started investigation on scientific lines and checked the cameras of Askari VI colony in which they traced a suspected vehicle bearing registration number LEE 07-4607. After getting information the owner of alleged car arrested interrogated regarding dacoits.
