Heavy rain claims seven lives in Bajaur

At least seven people died and several others injured as rain plays havoc in different areas of Bajaur Agency on Saturday. According to details, due to heavy rain, roof and a wall of a religious seminary located in tehsil Mamond of Bajaur Agency collapsed. Five people including Salahuddin, Hazrat Gul, Khalid, Wajid and Siddique died in the incident while several others were injured.
Wife of a tribesman Dawai Khan died when wall of a house situated in Niag area of tehsil Mamond collapsed due to rain. Another Rehmanuddin died in wall collapse incident in Kosar area of tehsil Khar. The bodies and injured were shifted to Agency Headquarters Hospital where condition of one injured person was stated to be critical.
