Over 10 crime cases reported in Islamabad

Over 10 cases of various kinds of theft, dacoities, kidnapping and snatching at gunpoint were reported to various police stations of the city during the last week. According to the data gathered by Business Recorder here on Saturday through registered first information reports (FIRs), most 'favorite' areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Golra and Sabzi Mandi police stations during the last week.
One Rehan Nasir informed Golra police station that unidentified armed persons stole his Mehran car bearing registration number LOH-1427, which had been parked in front of his house. Another victim Javed Iqbal informed Sabzi Mandi police station that unidentified armed persons stole his GLI car bearing registration number EW-202, which had been parked in front of his house.
In another incident, some unknown robbers stole one Mujeebullah's motorcycle bearing registration number NP-028 in the jurisdiction of Ramna police station. Some unknown robbers stole Sameer's motorcycle bearing registration number RIQ-8877 from the jurisdiction of Aabpara police station.
Meanwhile, police arrested 21 outlaws including 12 persons involved in immoral activities. The police also recovered sheesha, 'hooka,' hashish, heroine, wine and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said. Following the directions of SSP Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi, Islamabad police took action and arrested the outlaws from various areas of the city. ASI Imran Haider of Secretariat police station arrested a drug pusher namely Faizullah and recovered 1,120 grams hashish and ASI Gulzar arrested a bootlegger namely Bashrat and recovered 10 tins of beer from him. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nawaz from Kohsar police station arrested an accused Zeeshan involved in selling 'sheesha' and 'hooka.' The police also arrested accused Muhammad Abdullah and recovered 115 grams hashish from him.
ASI Muhammad Hanif from Bani Gala police arrested accused Noman Masih and recovered 20 liters of wine from him. ASI Shahid Asghar from Tarnol police station arrested Amir Hussain and recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol along with ammunition from him. Sub-Inspector Amjad Ali from Sabzi Mandi police station arrested a drug pusher namely Shaker Khan and recovered 250 grams heroine from him. ASI Rasheed Ahmed from Sabzi Mandi police station arrested Izat Khan for his alleged involvement in a fraud case.
Inspector Haider Ali from CIA police along with a police team raided at Bahria Town, B-Block, and arrested five women and nine men involved in immoral activities and recovered 'sheesha' and 'hooka' from their possession. ASI Yasir Ali from Industrial Area police station along with a police team arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. Cases have been registered against all the accused and further interrogation is underway.
