Health Care Commission (HCC), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and district administration sealed 328 unregistered medical and other health facilities. In this connection, a crackdown against unregistered medical centres and quacks is in progress across the district. The district administration, along with Health Care Commission, is conducting raids on unregistered medical centres and other health facilities on daily basis.
During the campaign carried during last week, the administration and HCC carried out the checking of different medical centres and sealed 328 unregistered medical centres, quacks and usage of expired kits while 300 other such facilities have been issued notices. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Dr, Imran Hamid Sheikh, crackdown against unregistered medical centres and quacks was in progress in all four towns and Peshawar Development Authority (PDA).
The crackdown, he said will continue till the abolition of quacks, unregistered medical centres and others.
