Not a single hospital set up in KP during PTI's rule: Shahbaz

Punjab Chief Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif while taking a jibe at his political opponents said that those who chanted the slogan of new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have ruined the province. Addressing a charged crowed in Mardan on Saturday, said that Imran Khan has developed the habit of telling lies and staging sit-ins. PTI Chairman had claimed to put the system on the right track in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but he established not a single hospital in the province.
He mocked Imran Khan for his claim to set a world record by growing one billion trees in the province saying that the PTI chief did set a world record but not by sowing one billion trees but by telling lies. "Imran has distributed lands among his blue-eyed people in Swat", Sharif said and added that Imran Khan has undertaken not a single developmental project in the province.
PML-N president further criticised that the PTI chairman called himself a principled man, yet he benefited during Senate election. He lambasted that the entire Peshawar city had been dug out on the pretext of Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit project, noting that Imran used to call it 'jangla bus [project].'
Shahbaz said that Dengue had wrecked havoc in the province but he was taking rest in the scenic Nathia Gali. "I felt extremely sorry over Peshawar's destruction," he said, adding that the opponents did nothing except for staging sit-ins. He said that instead of serving the people in KP, Niazi Khan was busy in staging sit-ins against the government. He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is habitual liar.
"Imran used to call this "Jangla Bus" instead of Metro," he said and added Peshawar Metro Bus project cost around Rs 75 billion. "If given chance they (PML-N) would complete the Peshawar Metro Bus within five months," he added. The PML-N president said that not a single teaching hospital was built by the PTI-led KP government. Shahbaz accused Imran Khan of distributing land in Malam Jabba to his friends, adding that the PTI and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would be defeated in the upcoming general elections.
The chief minister while referring to horse-trading in the Senate elections said that Imran Khan - a man of principled - became of a man of selling votes. He claimed that PML-N would change condition of the entire province if voted into power, saying that they would defeat Imran Khan and Pakistan People's Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in the coming general elections. Shahbaz said that his party would defeat both Imran Khan and Asif Ali Zardari through the vote in 2018. He promised 'real change' in KP. He thanked the people for according him a warm welcome and said that he had come to Mardan for the first after become head of the ruling PML-N.
Earlier, Chief Minister Punjab and president PML-N Mian Shahbaz Sharif has reached Peshawar, where he held consultation with party leaders. Shahbaz held consultation with party leaders, including governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and Amir Muqam at the governor's house. They discussed the current political situation in the country.
