Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said that presenting budget for fiscal year 2018-19 was the prerogative of the upcoming government to be formed after the general election 2018. "Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government has no right to present budget for next fiscal year. It is the right and responsibility of next democratic government to present budget for next fiscal year.
The federal government should review its decision to present budget for next financial year and, instead, should present budget 2018-19 only for three to four months," the PPP chairman said while talking to media persons on Wednesday. He said the government could not give new schemes in the budget 2018-19 and it should only present budget for three to four months. Answering a question, he said those people who left the PPP could not get importance. He said that turncoats were not good for democracy.
He said that politics as well as thoughts of Imran Khan and Mian Nawaz Sharif were same and he could not work with them. Answering a question, he said that clash among institutions would not yield any benefit. Answering another question, he said the work was continuing on the manifesto of PPP. He claims that he always works in the interests of the country. When asked about the demand of South Punjab province, Bilawal said he did not want to talk on that issue.
