Contracts worth Rs 200 million signed at the '14th International Safe Secure Pakistan Exhibition' that concluded at Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad on a very successful note.
Informed sources said that the positive presence of foreign exhibitors at the 3-day exhibition was an indicator they saw Pakistan as a potential market for this sector as the local market has become quality conscious and are investing in latest safety, security and surveillance technology. Due to these reasons, they expressed their satisfaction over positive response during the exhibition.
"We see a lot of potential in local market for the technology equipment our company is offering," a foreign exhibitor said, adding that they had been here in the exhibition for several times and offered a complete family of security products. He said their product would be an essential item in the future scenario of security awareness in the country as Pakistan now seems to be a big market for us, with the upcoming one-road one-belt (OBOR) feature of CEPEC.
Local exhibitors are also glad over the response they received from the three day event. "The quality of visitors also made us happy as what only we need is business to business dealing," said a local exhibitor. Some had visited the exhibition last year and decided to participate. For some, it was their first time presence at the Safe Secure Pakistan. Another exhibitor said they had a good response as local market for the safety and security products was expanding.
